New Signing Kaddu Nets Hat Trick as Kogalo go six points clear

Gor Mahia’s new Ugandan import Patrick Kaddu grabbed a hat trick on his Gor Mahia debut as the record champions hit strugglers Vihiga Bullets for five in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match played at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani today.

Austine Odhiambo opened the floodgates in the 20th minute as another Ugandan Peter Lwasa scored the other goal in the first half. It was an all-Patrick Kaddu show in the second stanza.

Gor Mahia now tops the FKFPL Standings with 45 points after 21 matches as defending champions Tusker climbed to the second spot after a convincing 3-1 win over Bidco United at their Ruaraka backyard. The brewer’s goals were scored by Rodgers Ouma, Tom Teka, and Shaphan Oyugi.

AFC Leopards completed a league double over Bandari after Nigerian Striker Ojo Olaniyi scored his sixth league of the season from a tight angle at the Nyayo National Stadium.

In other league matches played today, Talanta fell 0-2 to Posta Rangers while bankers KCB earned a goalless draw against home team Kakamega Homeboyz.

Super sub-Patrick Ngunyi scored a last-gasp goal to grant Kariobangi Sharks a point in their thrilling 2-2 draw against visiting Wazito at the Kasarani Annex Stadium. Wazito scored through Collins Neto and Dennis Owino while sharks had earlier equalized via Moses Shikanda. In a late kick-off at the same venue, the rejuvenated City Stars side thumped Mathare United 3-0 to ease their relegation fears. Kevin Etemesi scored a brace while Newton Ochieng added the third.
