We Won’t back down- Kindiki

Ministry of Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki says the government maintains that it does not oppose legitimate alcohol businesses. However he emphasizes that the fight against illicit alcohol and narcotics is a priority. He underscores the non-negotiable nature of the recently implemented 25-point policy guidelines, describing them as key to addressing a major threat to national security.”

The CS was speaking when he met the Alcoholic Drinks Manufacturers at GSU Training School in Embakasi , Nairobi County.

Present were Principal Secretaries Dr. Raymond Omollo (Internal Security ) Mary Muthoni (Public Health ) , Dr Juma Mukhwana ( Industry) Inspector General Japhet Koome, GSU Commandant Eliud Lagat, Kenya Revenue Authority Commissioner General Humphrey Wattanga, NACADAKenya CEO Anthony Omerikwa were among the senior government officials in attendance.
