Mizani Africa places Tim Wanyonyi, Malala, Sifuna, Jalang’o, Kiarie,Imran as top performers

Nairobi’s Westlands legislator Hon. Tim Wanyonyi and Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala have received early Easter holiday gifts after being elevated the likely  Governors for Nairobi and Kakamega by Kenya leading opinion poll- researcher Mizani Africa.

 Wanyonyi leads the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat with 29.2 % followed closely by Nairobi Super senator Johnson Sakaja with 23.3% and new entrant Richard Ngatia coming close in third spot with 19.1%

  Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu is sitting in fourth spot in the popularity ranking with  15.6,Bishop Wanjiru is lying fifth with 11.2 followed by Agnes Kagure 0.8 and Wachira Njuguna trailing in the race with 0.5%.

   Contacted for comment,Wanyonyi lauded Mizani Africa for showing the true picture in the ground. 

 “My vision is to have women, youth and people living with disability fully empowered, create employment and above all provide effective representation for vulnerable groups like orphans and bring positive change for Nairobians,” Wanyonyi noted. 

  In the Kakamega Gubernatorial seat, as per Mizani Africa research, controversial Hon. Cleophas Malala has taken an early lead with 47.8% followed by businessman Fernandes Atemba(40.5) and third-placed Laban Atemba with 8.7 percent.

  Other top favourites in their respective positions include ODM secretary General Edwin Sifuna (Nrb Senatorial seat with 31.2 %), Wangui Ng’ang’a(Nrb women Rep with 29.2), Hon.Okoth Imran(Kibera Parliamentary seat(P. S) with 33.3),Beatrice Elachi(Dagoretti P. S .52.1%),John Kiarie (Dagoretti South P. S with 50.5%) and Felix Odiwor popularly known as Jalang’o who is vying for the Langata P. S.

 In Kakamega County, apart from Malala who is tipped to clinch the Gubernatorial seat, Madam Elsie Muhanda has emerged the top in the Kakamega Women Rep position with 41.3% followed  by Peninnah Mukabane (26%) and Naomi Shiyonga with 17.9 %
