DENNIS OLIECH EASTER GIFT

The Dennis Oliech Foundation today visited girls from the slum area of KANORERO in Dagoretti Corner and supplied them with Sanitary pads. This is where Dennis Oliech grew up and the initiative is aimed at keeping girls in school, informing them about their sexual health and empower them to be economically independent.

Speaking at the event Former Kenyan International Dennis Oliech who is the founder of the organisation said that “One of our cornerstone work is ensuring girls have access to sanitary pads so they don’t miss out on school or have to worry where they will get their next pack. Charity begins at home and that’s why we are here today. We are planning to go around the country to support more youths in different fields. Through the organisation we want to nurture talents through football, we want to advocate for a clean and conducive environment through planting trees. I believe if we all come together we will achieve this. The Dennis Oliech Foundation is not mine, it’s for the football lovers who have supported me all through, those who have stood with me in good and bad times and I call upon everyone to join this initiative and assist in any way they can. Thank you”.
